Bananas

Bananas

We have a 22-acre banana plantation of our indigenous types namely; kibuzi, musakala, and mbwazilume. Our focus is on these 3 types because of the sizeable bunches they give that make economic sense to the local and export market.
The manure from the sheep and goats is used to feed the banana plantation whereas the banana peelings, and male flowers after solar drying them, they are fed to our breast feeding goat mothers. This feed is great at boosting milk in goat mothers.
